METRO PARKS AND NATURE CHEHALEM RIDGE NATURE PARK OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE BUILDING Bids due: May 6, 2021 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3921 The Parks and Nature Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for construction of the Operations and Maintenance Building at Chehalem Ridge Nature Park in Gaston, OR. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., May 6, 2021, to Metro’s online Bid site, BidLocker, link and details can be found in the ITB document. First Tier Subcontractor forms are due from all bidders within two hours of the bid due time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. Chehalem Ridge Nature Park is a recently constructed venue that is in need of a maintenance building or pole barn to house equipment for its Operations team before the park’s official opening in the fall of 2021. The building will be constructed within the existing maintenance yard All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Bidding documents/RFP documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
