Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: HOLLISTER TRAIL HAZARDOUS TREE REMOVAL – TP2021-0004 The applicant, Monarch Tree Services for Nike Inc., request Tree Plan Two approval for the removal of 99 hazardous trees within a significant grove (G-42). The site is located at the southwest corner of SW Murray Boulevard and SW Jenkins Road, specifically identified as tax lots 104 and 105 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S108. The site is zoned Station Community – Multiple Use (SC-MU) and is located within the Five Oaks / Triple Creek Neighborhood Association Committee area. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the approval criteria contained in the Beaverton Development Code Section Tree Plan Two. NOTE: The City of Beaverton has declared a State of Emergency due to COVID-19 and the Community Development Division is closed to the public until further notice. The Community Development Department is evaluating temporary changes to processes and procedures to respond appropriately to the COVID-19 State of Emergency and is committed to ensuring that the land use review process continues to fulfill the requirements of state and local law while protecting the health and wellbeing of the community. During this State of Emergency, staff strongly encourages you to submit any testimony comments or questions via email to the project Planner.
