NOTICE OF STREET VACATION AND HEARING On August 26, 2020 Mr. Chiddix submitted a petition to vacate a portion of public right of way. The Madras City Council will be conducting a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Madras City Council Chambers located at 125 SW E Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input regarding a proposed right of way vacation at the location described below. After the public hearing, Council may consider passage of an ordinance formalizing the proposed vacation. PROPOSED AREA TO BE VACATED: VACATE PORTIONS OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY WESTCOTT STREET AND MOORE STREET OWNER(S) OF RECORD OF THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: Gisler Family Trust 10-13-35 AD 100, 101 Joel & Lyndsay Hessel 10-13-36 BC 701, 703 TT Investments, LLC 10-13-36 BC 700, 702 Harmony Investments 10-13-36 BC 600 Stacy & Rachel Chiddix 10-13-36 BC 400 The applicant who is initiating the vacation proceedings is the Stacy Chiddix as authorized by Ordinance 941 (Per ORS 271.080 to 271.160 Procedures to vacate Right of Way). Copies of the map of the area to be vacated are available at Madras City Hall located at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Objections or remonstrances must be filed, in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 or can be presented verbally to the Council during the Public Hearing.
