SUMMARY: Painting Multnomah County Department of Community Services is seeking Bids for the painting of the Morrison Bridge to include lead abatement. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Multco Marketplace Supplier Network. Bidders will need to register at this portal in order to submit a bid. Prequalification of bidders with ODOT is required on this project in accordance with 00120.00 of the General Conditions for Construction for Multnomah County. All applications or amendments must be submitted to ODOT at least 10 days before bid opening. The Class of Work is: Painting Attention is called to all provision of the Oregon Revised Statues – Chapters 279A & 279C, Public Contract and Purchasing, and the Multnomah County Public Contracting Rules. All projects require the contractor’s own organization to perform at least 30% of the awarded contract amount. The DBE goals percentage for this project is 4%. The project is subject to the DBE policy statement as cited in 49 CFR 26. DBE contractors are subject to commercially useful function (CUF) requirements. DBEs listed by the bidder for participation in the contract must be certified as eligible DBEs as of the time of bid opening. Where on-the-job training (OJT) participation goals have been assigned, the contractor must comply with the relevant special provision requirements.
