METRO PARKS AND NATURE DEPT NORTH NEWELL STREAM RESTORATION Bids due: May 20, 2021 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3926 The Parks and Nature Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for Organics Area Modifications at Metro Central Station located at 6161 NW 61st, Portland, OR. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., May 20, 2021, in Metro’s business offices at http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker. First Tier Subcontractor forms are due from all bidders within two hours of the bid due time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. A voluntary pre-bid conference for all potential prime contractors is scheduled on May 10, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Newell Creek Canyon Nature Park located adjacent to 1301 Fox Lane, Oregon City, OR 97045. The North Newell Stream Restoration project includes restoration work on Abernethy and Newell Creeks in Oregon City, Oregon. This project is intended to restore habitat for native fish, improve water quality in Abernethy and Newell Creeks and restore connectivity to the floodplain for floodwaters. Conservation targets addressed by this project include native fish and riparian forests. Native fish including federally listed coho salmon, steelhead and Pacific lamprey would benefit from this project. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Bidding documents/RFP documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
