PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Madras will hold public hearings before the City of Madras Planning Commission and City Council in order to receive testimony or comments on: – Planning File No. PA-21-1, legislative post acknowledgement plan amendment to the City of Madras Transportation System Plan (TSP) to revise intersection improvement No. I28 on Page 29 in the TSP to identify that a roundabout is the preferred intersection improvement for the Highway 361 (Culver Highway)/Belmont Lane intersection. STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: The applicable criteria for this land use decision are the Statewide Planning Goal 12 and the Madras Comprehensive Plan. Please contact City staff at least 24 hours prior to the applicable public hearing for more information on how to participate remotely. Anyone wishing to present testimony may do so at the public hearing. Anyone may submit written comments in advance of the public hearings to the Community Development Department at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon. The complete file will be available for review at Madras Community Development Department. Upon request, copies of file materials are available at a cost of $.25 per page. This meeting/event location is accessible. Sign and other language interpreter service, assistive listening devices, materials in alternate format such as Braille, large print, electronic formats, language translations or any other accommodations are available upon advance request at no cost.
