NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST From: Pastor Dorothy Evelyn Biamont 11535 SE Boise Street Portland, OR 97266 May 10, 2021 RE: Defamation of Character-For Slander Dear Beverly Ann DeCoite, Pastor Dorothy Evelyn Biamont is a respected professional in the community and among many religious affiliations in several countries and has spent her life building a positive reputation. Nevertheless, we have been informed that you have been maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information that is damaging to her personal and professional character. Your illegal actions are causing humiliation which is bringing undue duress and emotional distress. Under the laws of the State of Oregon, it is unlawful for an individual to make deliberate statements that intend to harm a person’s reputation without factual evidence or based on hearsay. The defamatory statements and actions include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. On April 12, 2021 showing up at Dorothy’s doctor’s office after Dorothy had been to her appointment and causing a chaotic yelling scene acting as if you were telling three (3) nurses that you were Dorothy’s care taker, which you are NOT, pretending that you couldn’t find Dorothy and that she was lost, and that Dorothy just lies. This illegal attempt of defamation of character in public to a third party is slander. 2. On April 8, 2021 you had a senior social worker show up at Dorothy’s private home unannounced and unexpectedly with false information to a public third party regarding Dorothy’s ability to care for herself and her home. This illegal attempt of defamation of character to a public third party is slander. 3. On April 1, 2021 you showed up unexpectedly and without notice to Dorothy’s private home yelling and causing a public scene to mislead neighbors and shoved your way into her private home of safe dwelling yelling at her and repeatedly calling her a liar and stupid and also threatening her that if she didn’t do the things that you wanted her to do, that she would never see her family again. This illegal attempt of defamation of character to create a public third party scene is slander. Deliberately threatening, intimidating, making false statements, to a senior woman is senior abuse and illegal. 4. September 26, 2017 is the date a judge signed the previous restraining order against you for senior abuse, case number 17PO09387 and was filed on September 28, 2017. 5. On June 15, 2015 you were belligerently screaming at Dorothy, as she was driving, for hours that she was stupid and a bad driver until she was in tears and had to pull over and also, two (2) other parties in the vehicle were crying from your belligerent yelling. This senior abuse is illegal. IF YOU DO NOT CEASE ALL RELATED STATEMENTS A DEFEMATION OF CHARACTER LAWSUIT WILL BE COMMENCED AGAINST YOU. If the above Activity continues, we will be forced to petition the Court to issue another temporary restraining order against you and the accomplices involved in the above activity. This is a first and final warning letter dated May 10, 2021. In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us with written assurance within 5 days that you will cease and desist from making further factually untrue statements. If you fail to comply, confirm or respond to this cease and desist letter within the aforementioned time-period we will have no choice but to immediately file a lawsuit against you in the proper jurisdiction seeking monetary damages as well as pursuing all available legal remedies for your defamation.
