NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL Hearing Date, Time, and Location: The Lake Oswego City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19 and Executive Orders issued by Governor Brown, city facilities are currently closed to the public. This meeting will be held virtually and all members of the City Council are attending remotely. Several avenues are available to the public for viewing or participating remotely. The meeting can be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube Channel and on the City’s website (www.ci.oswego.or.us). On April 26, 2021, the Planning Commission made a recommendation that the City Council extend the sunset clause on short-term rentals to July 16, 2022. The titles of the ordinance are as follows: Ordinance 2869 (Option 1) An ordinance of the Lake Oswego City Council amending Ordinance 2815 (Allowing Short-Term Rental Lodging Use in Certain Zones) by extending the sunset date in Section 4 (Sunset Provision) (PP 21-0004). Ordinance 2869 (Option 2) An ordinance of the Lake Oswego City Council repealing Section 4 (Sunset Provision) of Ordinance 2815 (Allowing Short-Term Rental Lodging Use in Certain Zones) (PP 21-0004).
