GERVAIS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 ARCHITECT/CONSULTANT Proposals due: June 21, 2021 @ 10:30 am REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Gervais School District No. 1 will accept Architect/Consultant Proposals from potential Architect/Consultants for the scope of services as set forth in the Request for Proposal documents (RFP), for the assessment and prioritization of projects to be identified from the long range facility planning study for the maintenance, repair and installation of improvements to Gervais School District No. 1 property (Project). Further services will include designing, building and working with contractors to implement the recommendations of projects and prioritization identified using the long range facility planning study. The initial project of assessment and prioritization shall be paid upon Project completion. Subsequent implementation of the recommended projects are contingent on successful bond passage. Architect/Consultant may act as the District’s liaison in the bond process. A copy of the RFP may be obtained from the district’s website at the following link: http://www.gervais.k12.or.us/staff/rfps/. Proposals must be filed with the District’s Superintendent, located at 290 First Street, Gervais, OR 97026, Attention Dandy Stevens. The RFP is also available on ORPIN. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit a Proposal. Proof of Oregon licensing and adequate professional liability insurance is required for those who will work on the Project. The District reserves the right to reject any Proposal not in compliance with any prescribed public bidding procedure or requirement, and may reject any and all Proposals for good cause upon the District’s finding that it is in the public interest to do so. No Proposal will be received or considered by the District unless the Proposal contains a statement as to whether the Consultant is a resident Consultant as defined in ORS 279A.120. The selection process will be the Formal Selection Procedure under OAR 137-048-0220. All Proposers responding to the RFP will do so solely at their own expense, and the District is not responsible for any Proposer expenses associated with the RFP.
