CITY OF WEST LINN PUBLIC HEARING PLN-21-01 TO ADOPT THE WEST LINN WILLAMETTE FALLS DRIVE 2021 CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PLAN AS ATTACHMENT B TO THE 2016 WEST LINN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PLAN (TSP) AND ASSOCIATED TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE TSP. The West Linn Planning Commission will hold a virtual public hearing on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. to consider adoption of the West Linn Willamette Falls Drive 2021 Conceptual Design Plan as Attachment B to the 2016 West Linn Transportation System Plan (TSP). The TSP is a supporting document of the West Linn Comprehensive Plan. The Commission will also consider text amendments to the TSP. Following the hearing, the Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council. The Council will make a final decision regarding the Commission recommendation following its own virtual public hearing on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6:00pm. At least 10 days prior to the hearings, a copy of the proposed amendments and associated staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at City Hall and on the City website, https://westlinnoregon.gov/planning/west-linn-willamette-falls-drive-2021-conceptual-design-plan. Alternately, copies may be obtained for a minimal charge per page. The hearings will be conducted in accordance with the rules of CDC Section 98, 100, and 105. At the public hearings, the Commission and Council will receive a staff presentation, and invite both oral and written testimony. The Commission or Council may continue the public hearing to another meeting to obtain additional information, leave the record open, or close the public hearing and take action on the proposed amendments as provided by state law. Failure to raise an issue in person or by letter at some point prior to the close of the hearing, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes an appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. Anyone wishing to present written testimony for consideration on this matter shall submit all material prior to the public hearings. Persons interested in party status should submit their letter and any concerns about the proposal prior to the public hearings. Written comments may be submitted to dwyss@ westlinnoregon.gov.
