NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING Virtual Meeting Details: Toll Free Phone Number(s): 888-475-4499 or 971-247-1195 Meeting ID: 291-261-4668 Passcode:5414752344 A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Madras, Jefferson County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. In order to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the City of Madras is offering this meeting via Zoom and teleconference. A Zoom/teleconference moderator will be available to assist remote users. There is limited seating available in Council Chambers, so if members of the public would like to attend the meeting in person, they must make prior arrangements with the Accounting Technician by calling 541-475-2344. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, review the proposed budget and to take questions and comments from the public regarding the budget. The meetings will be recorded and available via a link on the City’s website at www.ci.madras.or.us no later than 5 business days following the meeting. Public comment will be taken in written and phone-in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on June 7, 2021 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on June 8, 2021. Comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meeting on June 8, 2021. Comments, both written and phone in, will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member. Public comment must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on June 7, 2021.
