NOTICE OF LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION: Twist Bioscience Wilsonville Investment Now (WIN) Zone On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Wilsonville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding adoption of the proposed Twist Bioscience WIN Zone (Case File #LP21-0001). The Planning Commission will review the proposal to determine conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission action is in the form of a recommendation to the City Council. The hearing will take place at Wilsonville City Hall, 29799 SW Town Center Loop East, Wilsonville, Oregon. A complete copy of the relevant file information, including the staff report, findings, and recommendations, will be available for viewing seven days prior to the public hearing at Wilsonville City Hall, at the Wilsonville Public Library and online at: https://www.ci.wilsonville.or.us/meetings Summary of Proposal: Adoption of the Twist Bioscience WIN Zone, a local economic development incentive that will provide an urban renewal property tax rebate for a qualifying development project located outside of the City of Wilsonville’s otherwise designated urban renewal areas. The Wilsonville Investment Now (WIN) program aims to attract high-value investments to the Wilsonville community that strengthen the local economy by: — Retaining and expanding local businesses. — Attracting new businesses. — Retaining and expanding high-wage jobs. — Contributing to long-term growth in the property tax base through capital investment. How to Comment: Oral or written testimony may be presented at the public hearing. Written comments on the proposal to be submitted into the public hearing record is welcome prior to the public hearings.
