CLACKAMAS COUNTY HVAC UNITS Proposals due: July 15, 2021 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Notice is hereby given that Clackamas County through its Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed Proposals per specifications until 2:00 PM, July 15, 2021 (Closing), to provide installation of new HVAC units. No Proposals will be received or considered after that time. The resulting contract from this RFP requires the work to begin in Summer 2021 with complete install of equipment by TBD 2021. The awarded company will coordinate removal and disposal of existing equipment, purchase and installation of new HVAC equipment as the General Contractor on site. The Daily Journal of Commerce (Portland Area Office) and The Business Tribune will have this RFP posted in their advertisement. The County will send this RFP to contractors designated by Estacada Community Center and any others who are interested in this business opportunity. The County will make an Addendum and Plan Holder’s List available for this RFP through Amy Counsil, Project Coordinator, via acounsil@clackamas.us. The decision of vendor selection will not be solely based off lowest bid received. *** Schedule For Walkthrough Dates: This site for the Estacada Community Center – HVAC Upgrades (Estacada, Oregon 97023) is currently operational. Senior citizens may be present in the building during the summer months and business tenants are occupying the lower level of the building. The building will be accessible the following dates: 1) Tuesday, June 29, 2021 @ 9am PST 2) Tuesday, July 6, 2021 @ 1pm PST The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any and all Proposals upon the finding that it is in the public interest to do so and to waive any and all informalities in the public interest. In the award of the contract, the Board of County Commissioners will consider the element of time, will accept the Proposal or Proposals which in their estimation will best serve the interests of Clackamas County and will reserve the right to award the contract to the contractor who’s Proposal shall be best for the public good.
