NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Happy Valley City Council NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Happy Valley City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the annexation of territory pursuant to Section 16.67.070 of the City’s Land Development Code (LDC) in the City Hall Council Chambers, 16000 Misty Drive, Happy Valley, Oregon on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. DOCKET NUMBER: ANN-01-21/CPA-02-21/LDC-02-21 The affected areas include six properties with a cumulative area of approximately 13.72 acres. Only the properties described below are being considered for annexation. They are addressed as follows: 9161 SE 172nd 12968 SE Sunnyside Rd 16077 SE Hwy 224 16091 SE Hwy 224 16131 SE Grand St 13131 SE 125th Ave The subject properties are further described as: Clackamas County Map No. 13E30B: Tax Lot 02401 Clackamas County Map No. 22E02BD Tax Lot 01100 Clackamas County Map No. 22E13A Tax Lot 01400 Clackamas County Map No. 22E13A Tax Lot 01300 Clackamas County Map No. 23E18CB Tax Lot 01700 Clackamas County Map No. 22E02BC Tax Lot 00100 The City Council intends to decide the application for annexation during the public hearing. The Council may approve or deny an application for annexation in accordance with the applicable criteria of the City of Happy Valley Comprehensive Plan; Section 16.67.070 of the LDC; METRO Code Section 3.09; and, ORS 222.111, 222.125 and 222.170. The decision will be made in accordance with the said criteria and may be appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals. The decision-making criteria, application, and records concerning this matter are available at the City of Happy Valley City Hall at the above address during working hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays).
