Public Notice Planning Commission will hold Public Hearing Thursday August 26th 2021

PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 26th, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following application: Subdivision # 2021-05-S. The applicant, Mac Even, Even Better Homes, is proposing a 145-lot subdivision of the property described as Map No. 34E 17, Tax lot 200 (34E17 00200). The roughly 41 acre property is referred to by the applicant as Dugan Estates Phases 3 – 7. Some amenities and features proposed include open space tracts, stormwater tracts, pedestrian accessways, sidewalks and full street frontage improvements. The subject property is located in the Low Density Residential (R-1) zone. This application is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.08, 16.16, 16.56, 16.74, 16.76, 16.104 through 16.118, and 16.132, and applicable policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 13th at 7:00pm. The applicant, Deer Point Meadows Investments, LLC, is requesting a conditional use permit to allow an RV campground facility at the property described as Tax Lot 34E 17 2401. This proposal is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.38, 16.88, and applicable policies of the Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 13th at 7:00pm. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost.
