Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed as follows: Lori Ontko City of Prineville City Hall 387 NE 3rd St Prineville, OR The envelope shall be clearly marked: Bid Proposal for (insert name of Contractor) Peoples Irrigation District Pipe Installation Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM PDST on the October 5th, 2021, and the apparent low bidder will be determined. It is anticipated that the City of Prineville Council will approve the intent to award the contract at the Council meeting on the 12th day of October 2021. The start date for this project shall be no sooner than the 19th day of October, 2021 with a completion date of no later than the 1st day of January, 2022. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held promptly at 2:00 pm on the September 23, 2021, at the City of Prineville City Hall to review key project elements and answer questions. The work contemplated generally consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials to complete the HDPE Pipe Installation as described on the provided construction drawings and these Bid Documents. The selected contractor will be required to enter into a construction contract with the City of Prineville. City of Prineville Project Number 4000-21-22 GENERAL The scope of work for the project is generally to mobilize, perform selective demolition, install a furnished approximate 1,893 LF of 48-inch diameter HDPE pipe (to be welded by others), fitting, manway, and appurtenances, including clearing, grubbing, trenching, backfill (pipe zone, backfill zone and topsoil) and compaction, contour grading, fence work, reinforced concrete inlet and outlet structures, and associated work necessary to provide a complete irrigation transmission pipe, ready for service.
