NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS The Metolius City Council will conduct a Public Hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m. on November 1, 2021, at the Metolius Train Depot and via Zoom video conferencing platform. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance to the minimum lot size standards in the R3 Zone as well as the building orientation required of residential development. The applicant proposes two tri-plex units to be located on existing, adjacent lots each of approximately 7,100 square feet. The City Code requires 50 feet of lot width per unit and 5,625 square feet per unit for a multi-family development. The applicant requests a total lot width of 50 feet and 7,100 square for each lot. The properties are legally described as Lots 23 & 24 of Block 42 of the First Addition to the City of Metolius. The Metolius Planning Commission has recommended approval of this application following the Public Hearing held on October 5, 2021. All interested are urged to attend.
