PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF MOLALLA CITY COUNCIL VACANCY NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the City Council of the City of Molalla is accepting applications for appointment of City Councilor. Applications will be accepted until December 1, 2021, at 4:30pm. Detailed information is available at City Hall and on the City website, www.cityofmolalla.com/recorder. This appointment will be in effect until the first City Council meeting in January 2025. This vacancy is filled through appointment by a majority vote of the City Council, pursuant to Section 33 of the Molalla City Charter: A vacancy in the office of mayor or councilor will be filled by a majority of the remaining council members. The term of office for the appointee runs from appointment until expiration of the term of office of the last person elected to that office.
