NOTICE OF FLOODPLAIN ALTERATION The City of Beaverton intends to issue a site development permit for the proposed OR217 Auxiliary Lanes project. In the City of Beaverton, the project site is along OR 217 between Allen Blvd and Hall Blvd. The project site, is within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain of Fanno Creek. The work proposed within the floodplain includes reconstruction of exit and entrance ramps to accommodate auxiliary lane widening, replacement of the southern Hall Blvd overcrossing structure, updating the drainage conveyance, installing new stormwater treatment facilities, and maintaining floodplain storage capacity. Written appeals, based solely on anticipated adverse effects of this work, may be filed with the City Recorder on or before November 21, 2021 at 5:00 PM, PDT. This notice is intended to meet the requirements of Beaverton City Code, Section 9.05.085. A copy of this code and the proposed plans are available for examination at The Beaverton Building (City Hall), Community Development Department, Site Development Division, 12725 SW Millikan Way (4th Floor), Beaverton, Oregon. As the Beaverton Building is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an appointment to view plans is required. Please contact sitedevelopment@beavertonoregon.gov for an appointment.
