NOTICE OF FLOODPLAIN ALTERATION The City of Beaverton intends to issue a site development permit for the proposed NW Walker Road Phase 3 project. The project site Walker Road from NW 185th Ave to 173rd Ave, is within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain of Willow Creek. The work proposed within the floodplain includes replacement of the existing 6’x6′ box culvert in the Willow Creek crossing on NW Walker Road with a new con/span arch culvert (28’x11′) and associated grading. Written appeals, based solely on anticipated adverse effects of this work, may be filed with the City Recorder on or before 5:00 PM, PDT, Sunday, January 9, 2022. This notice is intended to meet the requirements of Beaverton City Code, Section 9.05.085. A copy of this code and the proposed plans are available for examination at The Beaverton Building (City Hall), Community Development Department, Site Development Division, 12725 SW Millikan Way (4th Floor), Beaverton, Oregon.
