IN THE PROBATE COURT OF GRAINGER COUNTY, TENNESSEE No. 2020-PR-63 IN THE MATTER OF: THE ESTATE OF BALLARD HASKEW BY: LORRI LIVESAY, Petitioner/Plaintiff ORDER ALLOWING SERVICE BY PUBLICATION IN LIEU OF PERSONAL SERVICE Plaintiff, Lorri Livesay, has filed a Motion for an Order allowing service of process upon heir, Chris South, by publication in lieu of personal service. Plaintiff has demonstrated by affidavit that the service of process agent has tried to find him, and he is not to be found or in the alternative that the residence of the Defendant is unknown and cannot be ascertained based on diligent inquiry. It is therefore ORDERED that the Clerk and Master shall: 1. Forthwith cause a copy of this order to be published, for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Hillsboro Tribune and Forest Grove News-Times, which newspaper is a newspaper of general circulation in Washington County, Oregon, with circulation in and around the City of Hillsboro, Oregon. 2. The copy of this Order that is published shall include the names of the parties to this action, the name of the Court, and the location at which this Court is held. 3. The copy of this Order that is published shall further notify the Defendant, Chris South, that he must answer or otherwise respond to the complaint in this action with 30 days of the fourth weekly publication of this Order, and if he does not answer or otherwise respond, a default judgment shall be entered against him on June 21, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in the Grainger County Chancery Court in the Grainger County Justice Center at Rutledge, Tennessee.
