NEWBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING NEWBERG SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Newberg School District 29J, Yamhill, Washington, and Clackamas Counties, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. The meeting will take place on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. and will be held electronically. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, elect officers, present the proposed budget, and receive information about how the budget aligns with district goals. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained from the district website at newberg.k12.or.us. The meetings will be available for viewing via the District’s scheduled Zoom session: https://bit.ly/3INEnwj The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at https://www.newberg.k12.or.us/ no later than 5 business days following the meeting. Public Testimony for board meetings will be conducted by submission of written comments. Please submit your written comments via email to publiccomment@newberg.k12.or.us no later than 5:00 pm on the night of the meeting. The Chair allows 30 minutes on the agenda for public comments, with a two-minute limit per person. Comments will be read in the order they are received. These are public meetings where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. Any person may provide comment at the meetings.
