PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE The City of Madras will hold public hearings before the City of Madras Planning Commission and the City Council in order to receive testimony or comments on Planning File No. TA-22-1, legislative land use regulation amendments initiated by the City of Madras Development Code to implement Middle Housing and the Downtown Parking Plan into the City’s municipal code. The proposed amendments will affect, but are not limited to, MMC Chapter 3 – Revenue and Finance, Section 3.05.020; MMC Chapter 10 – Vehicles and Traffic, Section 10.05.030 – Definitions and Article IV – Parking Regulations; MMC Chapter 18 – Development Code Section 18.05.030 – Definitions, Section 18.15 – Land Use Zones, Section 18.25.040 – Off-Street Parking and Loading, Section 18.25.050 – Off-Street Parking, Section 18.25.170 – Landscaping Standards, Section 18.30.100 – Mixed-Use Residential, Section 18.30.190 – Townhouse Design and Development Standards, & Section 18.55.010(2). STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: The applicable criteria for this land use decision are the statewide land use goals, the Madras Comprehensive Plan, Madras Development Code Chapter 18.75 (Amendments). Anyone wishing to present testimony may do so at the public hearing. The complete file will be available for review at Madras Community Development Department.
