PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Madras will hold public hearings before the City of Madras Planning Commission and the City Council in order to receive testimony or comments on Planning File No. TA-22-2, legislative land use regulation amendments initiated by the City of Madras to amend the City of Madras Public Improvement Design and Construction Standards to address driveway spacing standards for townhomes and the sewer lateral depth standard. STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: The applicable criteria for this land use decision are the statewide land use goals, the Madras Comprehensive Plan, Madras Development Code Chapter 18.75.020 (Amendments). CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING DATE: May 24, 2022 TIME: 5:30 p.m. LOCATION: 125 SW E Street City Hall, Council Chambers Madras, Oregon Zoom meeting details will be published on the meeting agenda. Anyone wishing to present testimony may do so at the public hearing. Anyone may submit written comments in advance of the public hearings to the Community Development Department at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon. The complete file will be available for review at Madras Community Development Department. Upon request, copies of file materials are available at a cost of $.25 per page. This meeting/event location is accessible. Sign and other language interpreter service, assistive listening devices, materials in alternate format such as Braille, large print, electronic formats, language translations or any other accommodations are available upon advance request at no cost.
