SECOND ADDENDUM GERVAIS SCHOOL DISTRICT ARCHITECT/CONSULTANT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS May 2, 2022 This is an addendum to the Gervais School District’s Architect/Consultant Request for Proposals published May 19th and 26th, 2021 (the RFP) and forms a part of the contract documents and modifies the original scope of work, specifications, requirements and deadlines. Except as changed by this Addendum, all terms, conditions, scope of work, plans, specification, requirements and deadlines in the original RFP and previous addenda remain unchanged. This addendum is intended to clarify the following terms: 1. Section 2.00, subsection 2 on page 5 of the RFP: TOTAL BOND CONSTRUCTION BUDGET: The District will undertake construction of the items identified in Phase 1. All items, including construction, surveys, and other requirements to implement the items identified in Phase 1 are estimated to be $34,890,600 in total. Such total will be financed through a combination of Bond and Grant funds. 2. Section 2.00, subsection 2 on page 5 of the RFP: PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE: During the Pre-construction Phase prior to bond passage, the Architect/Consultant shall be responsible for assessing projects, identifying project priority, assisting with budgets and implementation using the Long Range Facility Planning Study with priority first being given to those with the highest safety or security concerns. Architect/Consultant shall identify and work with a Design Team to implement such recommendations by providing the Owner with the highest quality improvements or additions within the specified time frames and budget. Architect/Consultant shall assist the District in selecting a CM/GC for the Project under applicable ORS Chapter 279 solicitation rules. 3. Section 4.00, subsection 1 on page 6 of the RFP: — The Architect/Consultant, as selected, will not be able to provide construction services on behalf of the District but will oversee construction services, which includes assisting in the selection of a CM/GC.
