CITY OF CULVER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A LAND USE ACTION The Culver Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing at the public meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. on May 18, 2022, at the Culver City Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a proposed partition to create a parcel containing 53,875 square feet out of an existing 9.25-acre parcel under the ownership of GMB Investors, LLC. The proposed parcel is intended to be conveyed to the City as a future expansion of the existing City Park. The application, submitted by the City of Culver, includes a proposal to dedicate and partially improve a 45-foot wide right of way extending approximately 400 feet south of D Street to serve the proposed parcel. A variance request has been submitted to the Public Works Standards requiring a 60-foot right-of-way and full street improvement. The subject property is located immediately adjacent to the City Park and is legally described as Taxlot 5800 of Jefferson County Assessor’s Map 12-13-17CC.
