NOTICE OF STREET VACATION AND HEARING The Madras City Council will be conducting a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the Madras City Council Chambers located at 125 SW E Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input regarding a proposed right of way vacation at the location described below. After the public hearing, Council may consider passage of an ordinance formalizing the proposed vacation. PROPOSED AREA TO BE VACATED: VACATE THE PORTION OF KEMPER STREET PER PARTITION PLAT 1994-17 OWNER(S) OF RECORD OF THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: Jefferson County School District 11-14-07 00 301 Madras Aquatic Center 12-14-07 BB 1300 James Drago & Lindsay Foster-Drago 11-14-04 BB 700, 900 Foster Family Trust 11-14-07 BB 1200 Robert Norton 11-14-07 BB 600 The Cottages at Yarrow 11-14-07 BB 200 Yarrow Homeowner Association 11-14-07 BB 4700 The applicant who is initiating the vacation proceedings is the City of Madras as authorized by Ordinance 941 (Per ORS 271.080 to 271.160 Procedures to vacate Right of Way). Copies of the map of the area to be vacated are available at Madras City Hall located at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Objections or remonstrances must be filed, in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, or can be presented verbally to the Council during the Public Hearing.
