AND SW KINGS BYWAY WATER MAIN UPSIZING Bids due: June 2, 2022 @2:00 pm INVITATION TO BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Sealed bids for construction of the SW 7th St. and SW Kings Byway Water Main Upsizing to be addressed to the City of Troutdale, 219 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Troutdale, OR 97060, telephone: (503) 665-5175, will be received by the City Recorder, Sarah Skroch, until 2:00 p.m. local time on June 2, 2022. Any bids received after the specified time will not be considered. BID OPENING: The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 p.m. local time on the 2nd day of June 2022, in the Kellogg Room at the Troutdale Police Facility at 234 SW Kendall Ct., Troutdale, OR 97060. The bid opening will be open to the Public and can also be viewed using Zoom Meeting. Instructions to access the Zoom Meeting are included in the bid documents. WORK TO BE DONE: The work on the SW 7th St. and SW Kings Byway Water Main project consists of on-site work, as follows: – Installation of approximately 1218 ft of 12-inch Water line – Abandonment of the existing 6-inch water main – Replacement of service lines, meter boxes, and meters – Reconnection to existing mains at intersections – Reconnection of two existing fire hydrants – Installation of 3 new fire hydrants – One 12 X 12 hot tap, one 10 X 10 hot tap, one 6 X 6 hot tap, and one 6 temporary line stop. – Installation of a new storm drain manhole – Installation of one new sanitary sewer lateral. – Installing of an air/vacuum valve assembly – Asphalt
