Notice of Public Hearing

City of Beaverton – Notice of Public Hearing Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Rate Increase Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held before the City of Beaverton City Council utilizing video conference technology to hold the meeting remotely, on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. on the following: Review and adoption of an approximate 4.3% increase in the Sanitary Sewer Rate and a $0.63 increase in the monthly per unit Stormwater Rate beginning July 1, 2022. The effect of the Sanitary Sewer Rate increase on single-family residence that uses 8 CCF of winter water per month would be $2.18 a month or $26.16 more per year. The effect of the Stormwater Rate increase on a single family residence would be $0.63 a month or $7.56 more per year. The revenues from the rate increases will be used for sanitary sewer and stormwater system repair and maintenance. The City Council invites testimony from interested citizens on this matter.
