Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: PROGRESS SQUARE PARTITION – LD2022-0009 / DR2022-0055 The applicant, Westlake Consultants, Inc., requests Preliminary Partition approval to partition one parent parcel, which is located at the northeast intersection of Hall Boulevard and Scholls Ferry Road, into two parcels. The applicant also requests Design Review Compliance Letter approval to demolish an existing eating and drinking establishment located at 8860 SW Hall Boulevard. The site is located at 8860 SW Hall Boulevard, specifically identified as Tax Lots 00300, 00400, and 00500 on Washington County Tax Assessor’s Map 1S126BC. The site is zoned Community Service (CS) and is located in the Denney Whitford/ Raleigh West Neighborhood Association Committee area. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the approval criteria contained in the Beaverton Development Code Sections 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.20.15.1.C Design Review Compliance Letter, and 40.45.15.4.C Preliminary Partition. NOTE: The Community Development Department is currently open to the public on a limited basis, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that the Community Development Department is not open to the public on Fridays at this time. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03.1 of the Beaverton Development Code. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public but is not intended for public testimony. Public Comment Period Ends: June 22, 2022. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around July 6, 2022, pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
