CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: CU-004-22 BROOKWOOD SPORTS COMPLEX NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning and Zoning Hearings Board (PZHB) at or shortly after 6:30 pm, at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. This meeting will be held in person in Conference Room 113, located on the 1st floor at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, AND remotely via Zoom. At this hearing, the PZHB will consider a request for Conditional Use approval to convert an existing warehouse facility into a private volleyball club on a site approximately six acres in size with associated landscaping, parking, and waste enclosure improvements. The applicant is proposing a future phase west of the existing building. The future phase would be a new, approximately 63,000 square foot building with a mix of uses including: courts, restaurant, offices, and storage. Prior to submittal of permits, Development Review approval will be required for each phase. The subject property can be specifically identified as Tax Lot 100 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-28AC and is generally located north and east of NE Brookwood Parkway, south of NE Evergreen Road, and west of NE Dawson Creek. The property owner is Josh Davison, Applied Materials Inc. and the applicant is Jessica Lucas, CIDA Inc. The applicable approval criteria for this application may be found in Section 12.80.020 of the Community Development Code (CDC).
