SUMMARY STATEMENT: This action relates to Defendant selling to Plaintiff, on or about December 14, 2021, a 2018 Infinity QX80, for $18,000. The vehicle’s VIN stamped on the frame did not match the VIN on the dashboard, which was not the original VIN certified by the manufacturer. Defendant sold Plaintiff the vehicle without a marketable title. Date of first publication: September 2, 2022. WHEREFORE, Plaintiff prays for the following relief: 1. On his First Claim for Relief (Breach of Contract), for an award of money damages in the amount of $18,000, together with interest at the legal rate of 9% from December 14, 2021, until paid in full; 2. On his Second Claim for Relief (Breach of Warranty), for an award of money damages in the amount of $18,000, together with interest at the legal rate of 9% from December 14, 2021, until paid in full; 3. On his Third Claim for Relief (Negligent Misrepresentation), for an award of money damages in the amount of $18,000, together with interest at the legal rate of 9% from December 14, 2021, until paid in full; 4.
