Yamhill County is seeking new membership on it local advisory Board of Health. The Yamhill County Board of Health advises and provides recommendations to local public health staff and leadership. Work focuses on public health practice, and developing long-term prevention focused approaches to public health challenges such as the leading causes of death. We are interested in member representation from a diverse group who are interested in foundational health topics and social determinants of health such as education, environmental issues, reducing trauma, food systems, behavioral health, transportation and more. Meetings occur once per quarter.
