WORLD OF WINES – HO2022-0001

Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: WORLD OF WINES – HO2022-0001 The applicant, Keith Westrum, the owner of World of Wines, LLC, is seeking approval for a Home Occupation Two permit to sell wine within an existing residential home. The existing home on the site will continue to serve as the primary residence. The owner will be the only employee to work on the site. The site is located at 525 NW 180th Avenue, Tax Lot 06500 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1N131CB. The site is zoned Residential Mixed B (RMB) and is in the Five Oaks/Triple Creek Neighborhood Association Committee area. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the approval criteria contained in the Beaverton Development Code Sections 40.40.15.2 Home Occupation Two. NOTE: The Community Development Department is currently open to the public on a limited basis, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that the Community Development Department is not open to the public on Fridays at this time. Written comments, either emailed or mailed, on the above development proposal shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. No Facilities Review is required for a Home Occupation Two application. Public Comment Period Ends: November 23, 2022. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above applications and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around December 7, 2022 pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
