NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING: December 6, 2022 – Announce Public Hearing; January 3, 2023 – Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. The January 3, 2023, City Council meeting will be a hybrid in person and virtual meeting held in the Council Chambers in the Beaverton Building at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon. The public may attend the meeting and provide public testimony in person or virtually. CPA2022-0008 / ZMA2022-0008, EMERALD VIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS: This proposal would amend the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map and Zoning Map to apply City land use and zoning designations to a parcel that is currently annexing into the City of Beaverton. The property is currently designated Washington County R6. The proposed amendment to the Land Use Map (CPA2022-0008) would apply the city’s Lower Density Neighborhoods land use designation. The proposed amendment to the Zoning Map (ZMA2022-0008) would apply the city’s RMC zone. The property is addressed and is identified as tax lot 02301 on Washington County’s Tax Assessors tax map 1S130DD. Approval criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are in Section 1.5.2 of the Comprehensive Plan. Approval criteria for the Zoning Map Amendment are in Development Code Section 40.97.15.3.C. ***NOTE: The Community Development Department is currently open to the public on a limited basis from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
