THE CITY OF MADRAS, OREGON REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR WASTEWATER ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Madras is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQ’s) from engineering firms to provide Wastewater Engineering services to the City and to serve in the role of Wastewater Engineer. The City of Madras is home to approximately 7,456 persons and is located in Jefferson County. The City is managed by a City Administrator, which oversees the Public Works Department, Community Development Department, Finance Department, Police Department and City Hall Administration. The Public Works Department is comprised of a Street Department, Parks Department/Golf Course, and Utilities Department (water & wastewater). The Public Works crew operates and maintains the public facilities and utilities that are provided by the City. Each consultant must submit proposals to the City by no later than January 13, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Proposals must be clearly marked Wastewater Engineer Services Statement of Qualifications and directed to: Wastewater Engineering Services Statement of Qualifications c/o Michael Whitfield, Public Works Director 125 SW E Street Madras, OR 97741 Substantive questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing to Michael Whitfield, Director of Public Works at the address above or at Michael Whitfield mwhitfield@cityofmadras.us not less than seven (7) days prior to the deadline for submitting qualifications. Protests of this solicitation, if any, must be submitted in writing not later than ten days prior to the deadline for submitting qualifications and shall be administered in accordance with the OAR 137-048-240.
