CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO. CDCA-003-22 WITCH HAZEL VILLAGE SOUTH PLAN DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission at or shortly after 6:00 pm, at their regular meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. This meeting will be held in person in Conference Room 113, located on the 1st floor at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, AND remotely via Zoom. Instructions on how to join the Zoom virtual meeting are listed at the bottom of this notice. At the hearing, the Planning Commission will consider proposed text amendments to the Hillsboro Community Development Code (CDC), Ordinance No. 6094, as amended. Requested Amendments: The WHVS Community Plan was adopted by the City Council on November 15, 2022, which became effective on December 15, 2022 (Case File No. HCP-005-22). The proposed text amendments to the CDC incorporate the WHVS Plan District as Subchapter 12.68 to support the goals, policies, and implementation measures of the WHVS Community Plan, and include the following Subsections: 12.68.100, Base Zone Standards, 12.68.200, Site Design, 12.68.300, Vehicle Parking, 12.68.400, Bicycle Parking/Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation and Connectivity, 12.68.500 Access and Street Standards, 12.68.600, Public Utilities, Site Grading and Storm Water Facilities Site Integration, 12.68.700, Design Standards for Residential Development, 12.68.800 Design Standards for Non-Residential and Mixed-Use Development, 12.68.900 Public Facility Master Plan Compliance Requirements, Figures and Maps, and Street Figures. The procedures by which a CDC Amendment is processed can be found in Section 12.70.060 Type IV Procedure and Section 12.80.140 Text Amendment. The staff report, including a draft Order will be available at https://hillsboro-oregon.civicweb.net/Portal/ by Wednesday, January 18, 2023. All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting in person, or virtually through Zoom (instructions below) and will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposal.
