NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL (Legislative – LOC 50.07.003.16.e) Hearing Date, Time, and Location: The Lake Oswego City Council will hold a public hearing on February 7, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in-person at City Hall and an option for participating remotely via Zoom is also available. The meeting will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube Channel and at https://www.ci.oswego.or.us/ as well as broadcast live on Tualatin Valley Community TV; check their website for details. Applicant: City of Lake Oswego File Number: LU 22-0008 (Ordinance 2891) Nature of Application and Proposed Legislative Amendments: A request from the City of Lake Oswego for the adoption of amendments to the Community Development Code (CDC) (LOC Ch. 50) that will introduce new limitations on the remodeling and redevelopment of existing residences that do not conform to current CDC standards. On January 9, 2023, the Planning Commission made a final recommendation that the City Council approve the proposed amendments. The record of the proceedings for LU 22-0008 can be found on the City’s website at: https://www.ci.oswego.or.us/all-projects (Under Search enter LU 22-0008, then press Enter) Amendments would be implemented through the adoption of Ordinance 2891, which will be considered at the public hearing. The title of the ordinance is as follows: Ordinance 2891 An ordinance of the City of Lake Oswego amending LOC 50.01.006 Nonconforming Uses, Structures, Lots and Site Features and LOC 50.07.004 additional submittal requirements; and adopting findings (LU 22-0008).
