CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CASE FILE NOS. AN-009-22 & ZC-010-22 PACIFIC NORTHWEST LAND COMPANY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Two public hearings will be held before the City Council at or shortly after 7:00 pm, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. This meeting will be held in person in Conference Room 113 located on the 1st floor at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, AND remotely via Zoom. The City Council will consider a request for annexation of one parcel totaling approximately 6.58 acres in size into the City limits of Hillsboro and a City-initiated Zone Change on the subject site upon annexation. The purpose of the annexation is to facilitate future residential development. Also included would be the annexation of these tax lots into the Clean Water Services District and withdrawal from the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Service District and the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District. The Planning Commission is scheduled to initiate the Zone Change at their regular meeting on February 22, 2023, recommending the City Council apply the MR-1 Multi-Dwelling Residential base zone with associated Significant Natural Resource Overlay (SNRO) and Regulatory Floodplain Overlay (RFO) upon annexation. The subject property is located at 3625 SE 67th Avenue and can be specifically identified as Tax Lot 100 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-10DC and is generally located north of SE Cabbage Lane, south of SE Alexander Street, east of SE 64th Avenue, and west of SE 67th Avenue. The property owner and applicant is Mark Vukanovich, Pacific Northwest Land Company, LLC, represented by Melissa Slotemaker, AKS Engineering and Forestry. The applicable criteria for an Annexation are listed in Metro Code Chapters 3.09.045 and 3.09.050 and Section 12.80.010 of the CDC. The applicable criteria for a Zone Change are listed in CDC Section 12.80.160.
