PUBLIC HEARING The Clackamas County Board of County Commissioners will hold a PUBLIC HEARING Commissioners are encouraging the public to participate in person or digitally using Zoom in weekly Business Meetings. BCC website: https://www.clackamas.us/meetings/bcc/business Thursday, April 12, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. (scheduled date subject to change- please check BCC website for updates) This hearing will satisfy a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirement that the public annually be given an opportunity to review the past performance of the County’s Community Development programs. The hearing is also to review the Proposed 2023 Community Development Action Plan. The Proposed 2023 Action Plan consists of projects selected for funding in the July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 program year. The Action Plan is the County’s annual application for three federal grants that will enable the County to receive $2,203,585 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, $1,088,143 in Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds, and $193,644 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds during the 2023 program year. The hearing will consist of three parts: 1) A review by the Housing and Community Development Manager, Mark Sirois, of the past performance of the County’s Community Development programs; 2) A review of the Proposed 2023 Community Development Action Plan; and 3) An open discussion period during which citizens may testify on the plan or the County’s housing and commu- nity development needs.
