NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Record number 217-23-000113-PLNG Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 4:00 p.m. on April 12, 2023, in the meeting room at 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, to consider the following: Kerley Ranches, LLC and their agent Kilpatrick Consulting] (Applicant) proposes to host 18 Agri-tourism events on an approximate 897.45-acre tract identified as Tax Lot No. 1414000001400, 1414000001405, 1415000000205, and 1415000000700. The property is identified as 1414000001400; the situs address is at 11311 SW Cornett Loop. The property is located approximately 4.5 miles north of Highway 126 and is approximately 9 miles west of the City of Prineville. The property is zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU-3). The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code (CCC) 18.172 (Administration Provisions), and will be reviewed for compliance with CCC 18.16 (Exclusive Farm Use), Crook County Comprehensive Plan; and ORS 215. Oral testimony will be received by the Planning Commission at the public hearing. Written testimony received by April 3rd, at 4:00 pm, will be considered by staff prior to the issuance of the staff report and recommendation on this application. However, written testimony will continue to be accepted until the record closes, which may occur as soon as the conclusion of the public hearing. Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
