Public Notice CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/GENERAL CONTRACTOR With a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the construction of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass Trail Phase 1 Date of issue: March 22, 2023 Closing Time and Date: April 13, 2023, 3:00 pm PST The Chehalem Park and Recreation District requests proposals from experienced Construction Managers/General Contractors for the construction of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass Trail Phase 1 located in Newberg, Oregon. It is the intent of the District to enter into a contract with the selected Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). Procurement of construction manager/general contractor services will be done in accordance with model rules the Attorney General adopts under ORS 279A.065 (model rules generally). The contract is anticipated to have two parts: one, a fixed fee for pre-construction management and the other a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction. CM/GCs responding to this request will be evaluated based on their qualifications, prior experience, proposed schedule and plan for completing the work, associated fees, and other relevant factors. No proposals will be accepted after that date and time. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at the District Administration Offices located at 125 S. Elliott Rd., Newberg, Oregon 97132, on March 27, 2023 at 10 am PST. The meeting is designed to allow Proposers an opportunity to ask questions about the RFP, program, schedule, and tour the site. All proposers must be registered with the Oregon Contractors Board prior to submitting proposals. Failure to register will be sufficient cause to reject proposals as non-responsive.
