REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY FIRE & EMS BUILDING EXPANSION & REMODEL Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) Services Jefferson County Fire & EMS (JCF&EMS or the district) is seeking Proposals from qualified Contractors to assist with CM/GC services related to design and construction for renovations and additions to the existing facilities. The current fire station was built in 1989. The work will include Preconstruction Phase Services and Construction Phase Services including design reviews and cost estimates, coordination with District’s architect and engineer. The Project will be divided into two segments: Phase I Preconstruction Phase Services, followed by a potential Phase II Construction Phase Services, separated by District review and approval of a Project GMP. Copies of the Request for Proposals, and concept drawings are on file and may be reviewed free of charge by contacting the District’s Representatives, Jeffrey Blake: jblake@jcfire-ems.org & LeeAnn Patton: lpatton@jcfire-ems.org A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on April 4, 2023 at 1:00pm (PST) at Jefferson County Rural Fire located at 765 5th St., Madras, Oregon. The pre-proposal conference will provide an overview of the Project scope and status with the architect, followed by a building walk. All Proposals must be received no later than 3:00pm PST on April 19, 2023. Proposals not received by that time will be rejected as non-responsive and returned unopened. All proposals shall be submitted in person or by mail in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside as Request for Proposals – Jefferson County Fire & EMS CM/GC Services Building Project and bear the name of the Proposer. Attention: (Jeffrey Blake, Fire Chief). Faxed and emailed proposals will be rejected as non-responsive. No prequalification’s will be required for submittal of a proposal.
