PUBLIC NOTICE The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has initiated the transfer of jurisdiction of portions of county roads to the City of Metolius. The Board will hold a public hearing to consider an ORDER IN THE MATTER OF SURRENDERING JURISDICTION OF PORTIONS OF SW DOVER LANE, 9TH STREET, AND SW COLUMBIA DRIVE TO THE CITY OF METOLIUS on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., in the Board of Commissioner’s Meeting Room at 66 SE D Street, Madras. This will be the time and place for all interested persons to appear and comment on the proposed transfer of jurisdiction. The transfer affects the portions of the affected roads within the Metolius Urban Growth Boundary. A copy of the description of the portions of the roads proposed to be transferred and a map identifying the affected roads is available for inspection at the Jefferson County Board of Commissioner’s Office located at 66 SE D Street, Madras, Oregon or by calling 541-475-2449.
