NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS Two public meetings of the Budget Committee of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, Washington County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, will be held in the months of April 2023 and May 2023. These meetings will be held electronically. The first meeting will be held April 20, 2023, at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The second meeting will be held on May 18, 2023, at 6:00 pm for approval of the budget. The meetings will be available for viewing via the district’s scheduled YouTube channel: April 20, 2023 – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6UgF2C5p2w; May 18, 2023 – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hMzBNcRd6I. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the district website at www.thprd.org no later than 5 business days following the meeting. These are public meetings where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. Any person may provide comment at the meetings. Public comment is being accepted via email (written) or virtually via MS Teams (spoken). If you wish to submit written testimony via email, please send it to budgetcommitteecomments@thprd.org.Testimony received by the deadline will be read into the record during Public Comment with a 3-minute time limit. If you wish to speak during the virtual meeting, please sign up by emailing budgetcommitteecomments@thprd.org with your name, email address, phone number and testimony topic. You will be provided additional instructions and a link to access the meeting. Testimony will be taken with a 3-minute time limit during Public Comment. This information may also be found at www.thprd.org. Public comment for the April 20, 2023, meeting must be submitted no later than 5 pm on April 19, 2023. Public comment for the May 18, 2023, meeting must be submitted no later than 5 pm on May 17, 2023. A copy of the budget document may be inspected online at www.thprd.org after April 14, 2023.
