DEADLINE, NAME AND TITLE OF PERSON DESIGNATED FOR RECEIPT OF Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m, May 11, 2023, Submission of Sealed Bids: Metro is inviting Bids for ITB 4165 Metro Central Transfer Station Fan Replacement. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and mailed or delivered to, Metro, 600 NE Grand, Portland, Oregon 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, ITB 4165 All bids must be received no later than the date and time indicated on the ITB cover page, and will be publicly opened and read at that time. First Tier Subcontractor and Subcontractor Equity forms are due from all bidders within two (2) hours of the bid closing time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. A bid may not be submitted by facsimile (FAX) transmittal or electronically by email. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on APRIL 20, AT 10:00AM, at Metro Central Transfer Station Building, located at 6161 NW 61st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97210. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference. Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, but Metro strongly suggests that prospective bidders attend. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK Work location Metro Central Transfer Station Transfer Station, 6161 NW 61st Avenue, Portland, OR 97210 Description of work and location This project consists of the removal and replacement of twenty-five (25) upblast exhaust fans (Loren Cook model ACRUB) located on the roof of Metro Central Transfer Station’s main transfer building.
