SUMMARY STATEMENT OF THE OBJECT OF THE COMPLAINT: The object of this Complaint is to quiet title in said real property located at 1922 NE Squire Drive, Madras, Oregon 97741 and more particularly described as Lot 4, Block 2, Phase 1, Country View Estates, Jefferson County, Oregon. The subject property was acquired by the late Larry Dowers for the benefit of his family. Mr. Dowers subsequently caused the property to be transferred into a Wyoming Limited Liability Company, BEST HOPE, LLC formed in 2008. BEST HOPE, LLC was administratively dissolved in Wyoming in 2011 and carries on no businesses operations. Members of the Dowers family have continuously occupied the subject property since its acquisition in 2008. The object of this complaint is to Quiet Title in the Estate of Janet Margaret Dowers, the surviving spouse of Larry Dowers, so that the subject property may be devised to the heirs of her estate. DEMAND FOR RELIEF (a) Requiring Defendants to set forth their claims, if any, as to the real property described in paragraph 1 herein; (b) Determining all adverse claims, if any, of Defendants, and all persons claiming under Defendants; (c) Declaring Plaintiff to be the owner in fee simple of the real property described above and entitled to possession thereof, free of any estate, title, claim, lien or interest of Defendants or those claiming under Defendants and quieting title to the premises in Plaintiff; (d) Enjoining Defendants and those claiming under Defendants from asserting any estate, title, claim, lien or interest in the premises or any portion thereof; (e) Awarding Plaintiff his costs and disbursements incurred herein; and (f) Granting such other relief as may be equitable.
