Notice of Public Hearing Legislative Amendment: Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO): Tree Preservation & Removal (LA 21-03) On May 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., the Woodburn Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to (1) consider recommended legislative amendment (LA) of the Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO) to clarify, strengthen, and add development standards about tree preservation and removal related to private property and (2) make a recommendation to the City Council. (The proposal does not change regulation of street trees, that is, trees within City rights-of-way.) The hearing venue is the City Hall Council Chambers at 270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, Oregon 97071. The Commission will not only meet in person but also continue to video conference.
