NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Forest Grove, Washington County, State of Oregon, will held at the Community Auditorium, 1915 Main Street, Forest Grove, Oregon on May 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message from the City Manager and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation on the Budget Committee will take place. The deliberations will include discussion of the use of State Revenue Sharing funds and receiving comment from the public on the proposed budget and use of State Revenue Sharing funds. The public can also attend the meeting and provide comment by Zoom for which access instructions will be published on the City’s website on May 2, 2023. Comments may also be submitted in writing by 3 p.m. on May 9, 2023, via email to jzaik@forestgrove-or.gov. A copy of the budget document may be inspected after May 2, 2023, on the City’s website at http://www.forestgrove-or.gov/finance/page/budgets or obtained after May 2, 2023, at City Hall at 1924 Council Street between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A subsequent Budget Committee meeting is scheduled for May 16, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Auditorium at 1915 Main Street.
