HEARING NOTICE The Newberg Planning Commission will hold public hearings on June 8, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Newberg Public Safety Building, 401 E Third Street, Newberg, OR and via teleconference using Zoom to evaluate the following new proposals: 1. Conditional Use Permit (Quasi-Judicial): Consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a vacation rental at 300 W Third Street Applicant: Brian Love File: CUP23-0001 2. Major Modification (Quasi-Judicial): Consider a request for a major modification to an existing conditional use permit (CUP-2-90) at an existing emergency shelter at 615 N College Street; modification includes an additional capacity for 9 beds and placement of a modular office. Variance (Quasi-Judicial): Consider a request for a variance to reduce the required minimum number of on-site parking spaces by 40 spaces as related to the activation of a second floor space within the Chehalem Cultural Center at 415 E Sheridan Street.
